Norm Macdonald tells one helluva Bob Uecker story

WARNING: This post contains very little about baseball and has absolutely nothing to do with the Phillies.  If the only two things you are interested in hearing about here on The Fightins dot com are baseball and/or the Phillies, I kindly suggest you sit this one out.  Go click through the archives or something.  Otherwise, enjoy.

In the beginning of the clip, Norm mentions the story that Artie Lange told on Letterman a couple months ago. Well this morning, Norm was a guest on The Howard Stern Show and he and Artie told some hilarious (uncensored) Uecker stories that blow this one away. One actually involved Frank Sinatra, Don Drysdale, a kidnapping, and a fake death threat. I won’t spoil it, instead I’ll try and get the audio up here tomorrow…

Oh yeah, and if you live in close proximity to Philadelphia and enjoy the comedic stylings of Norm Macdonald as much as I do, make sure you get tickets for him when he comes through June 18-20 at Helium Comedy Club on Sansom St. I’ll be at the late show (10:30 PM) on Friday, June 18th.

    Dirty Work is the most underrated movie of my lifetime … and I even laugh at Screwed. How can you go wrong with Norm, Chappelle and DeVito? You can’t.

    Such a great appearance on Stern yesterday, I hope you can pull the audio. It was actually playing this morning on my way in to work. That Sinatra story is just fantastic.

    Also, there were a few Harry Caray stories in the mix yesterday that were great as well, one Artie had told on Letterman back in March, but still good.
