My Hunger Strike is quickly approaching Day 3

Hunger Strike: Hour 40 — The Phillies didn’t score again last night (obvs), which means that I have not eaten in nearly 3 days.  The last time I had any food whatsoever was Wednesday evening around 5:15.  The Phillies are literally trying to kill me.  Literally. I’m hungy.

    They actually have a menu there but I’ve never looked at it. I get the same thing every f’n time. Good Dog burger medium well. Plus they got some cute waitress type things with tattoos and studded belts.

    Okay, after that first game against the Pirates, which we won 12-2, it felt too easy. I took wins for granted and I guess I took scoring for granted.

    This is also what I get for calling Seattle’s offense, anemic. Our offense is on life support if not already dead.

    Oh, they rolled it out big time a couple weeks ago-Philadelphia Pretzel Factory has done it. I haven’t tried one, mostly because I haven’t eaten red meat in 8 years or so, and I can imagine that the Cheesesteak Pretzel wouldn’t be the proper venue to reintroduce my digestive system and red meat.

    Watrick, if you’re ever thinking about using again and you need somebody to talk to I’ll be here for you. I’m a red meat user myself and have no intentions of changing that, but I feel that for someone who can’t use red meat responsibly I can help prevent a relapse or at least be a shoulder to cry on. 8 years ago when we found you in that back alley covered in au jus…well let’s just say it wasn’t pretty.
