Female Reporter Gets Hit With Baseball While Interviewing Sarge

Scott Palmer, the Director of Public Affairs for the Phillies was involved in a prank gone awry last night at Citizens Bank Park. While reporter Dawn Timmeney was wrapping up an on-field interview with the legendary Sarge Matthews about how he almost-singlehandedly beat the Dodgers in the ’83 NLCS, Mr. Palmer playfully tossed a ball in the general vicinity of the two which was supposedly intended for Sarge.

However, the ball never reached Sarge, instead the errant throw caromed off of Timmeny’s breast before bouncing off her lap and onto the ground. Being the professional that she is, she didn’t skip a beat.
